Iranian government blocks Facebook access, But why? A political Play? Or An action to protect the youth? Whatever, its gone.
Iranian authorities often block specific websites and blogs considered critical of the Islamic regime, but the timing of the latest clampdown suggested it was intended to undermine opponents of the hardline president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
During the last presidential race, in 2005, information about rallies and campaign updates were sent by text message. In recent years, political blogs by Iranians in the country and abroad have grown sharply. Newcomers such as Twitter are also gaining in popularity.

Hi Friends,
I am very sad and amazed hearing the news that tells that Blogger and blogspot is now blocked in turkey. Freedom to speech and expression is given as a fundamental right by many organizations and countries while Turkey blocks Blogger. Turkey does not give internet freedom. First they blocked Word press then youtube then comes Blogger. And Hundreds of sites.
Advantage:
Nothing.
Disadvantages:
However the ones who need to use blogger will use it. Using some other ways like hacking or cracking.
When restriction is made more people will be interested in using it. Sure!!!!!
